There was a man who heard that if you wish and think for something hard enough, you will get it. Thus, he goes to the church and prayed to God, "Lord, please let me win a grand prize in the lottery ticket." He did so everyday and though his prayers went unanswered, he continued to do so without fail. Finally, after a long, long time, God answered his prayers and His reply was "Oh, for God's sake, will you just go and buy a lottery ticket already?" (based on a story from Jack Canfield)
